We built this Merbau deck to fit snugly around the built-in spa and the existing trees, making the most of the space while keeping a natural feel. Every board has been custom cut and finished to suit the shape of the yard, creating a clean, practical area to relax outdoors.

Composite decking around Pool (Project in Berwick)
Composite pool deck built with Trex Island Mist with picture-frame border around pool.
For this Ocean Grove project, we used Trex composite decking in Island Mist to create a functional, low-maintenance space around the pool with inbuilt bench seating. The picture-frame border adds a refined finish and helps protect the board ends from water exposure. Ideal for a poolside setting in a coastal area and built to handle coastal conditions with minimal upkeep. A deck that blends durability with modern style.

Split level Merbau deck with built-in lighting overlooking swimming pool
We designed this Merbau deck in Templestowe to suit the natural slope of the yard, adding a split-level layout that connects the home to the garden, overlooking the pool. The warm timber tones are brought to life with built-in lighting to create a warm, functional space for entertaining. Every board was measured and cut on site for a clean, tailored finish.
